The IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter and the Charrette Underwriter, IIDA Houston City Center, are proud to host forty elite students at the 2012 Texas Oklahoma Chapter's Student Conference Design Charrette. Three to four students from each eligible school will be chosen by each school's Director of Interior Design.

The charrette will be a four-hour design competition administered by Page Southerland Page. The 2012 Design Challenge will be released at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2012.

SCHEDULE (Thursday, February 23, 2012)
7:30 a.m. Charrette Student Check-In
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Design Team Meet+Greet and Breakfast
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Design Charrette
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch

HOTEL ROOMS
Hotel rooms for the charrette students will be covered by the Charrette Underwriters for the evening of Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Four Points.

Rooms will be booked by IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter and each student will be assigned to a room with three fellow students. We are sensitive to room assignments and will try to keep students from the same school together as much as possible. Rooms will be separated by gender.

Students are responsible for securing hotel arrangements for the evening of Thursday, February 23. Students may stay in the same rooms for the second night, but are responsible for making reservations with Four Points and providing one credit card per hotel room to secure the reservation. It is likely that charrette students continuing their stay at Four Points on Thursday night will be asked to relocate rooms.

IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter will not be held responsible for any incidentals or damages to any hotel room.
