What if I missed the registration deadline?
Because of our deadlines to our vendors, we are unable to accommodate any late registrations. In addition, we will NOT accept day-of registration. Please plan accordingly.

Why did registration costs increase in 2013?
Due to the feedback from the student surveys at SC12, three additional meals are included in SC13. We also strive to increase the value of the conference with the addition of two additional programs: Workshops (Thursday morning) and The Whole Package interview + branding program (Friday afternoon). In order to cover the additional costs of SC13, registration costs have increased and new underwriting levels have been introduced.

What is the attire?
Business attire is required. No mini-skirts or flip-flops. However, consider bringing comfortable shoes for the firm and project tours and the Industry Tabletop Expo.

Can I bring a camera?
Of course! However, please ask if it is okay to take pictures of your tour sites. Some project sites may not allow photography.

What if it rains?
Houston weather is unpredictable. You will be getting on and off a bus for the tours, so bring an umbrella just in case.

What if I have food allergies?
When you register, you will be asked if you have any food allergies. It is imperative that you note any food allergies at that time and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We recommend preparing yourself and or equipping yourself with food items that we may not have access to. If you have any additional concerns that need to be addressed, please contact Karina Garza at karina@insite-architects.com.

What if I need to cancel?
The deadline for cancellations is February 8, 2013. For additional information please contact Karina Garza at karina@insite-architects.com.

I came last year and want to tour a different firm this year.
Unfortunately, due to the number of returning students we are unable to place students on a specific tour. We're working on this though!

When we tour, will we be split up from our school?
Yes, as the tours groups are randomly assigned. However, this is a great networking opportunity that encourages interaction between schools and students. Please take this time to make new contacts and friends.

How much does parking cost?
There are three lots on the CityCentre property, and Parking Garage 1 connects directly to Hotel Sorella and the Norris Conference Center. Please park on Level 3 for direct access to the skybridge.

Can I bring a digital portfolio to the portfolio review?
You are more than welcome to bring a digital portfolio, however you will also need to bring your own laptop. Laptops / computers will not be provided.
