She's the Founder, an Interior Designer, and a Connector of people. The mission of PLiNTH & CHiNTZ is "to bridge the gap between the student/educational community and the professional/manufacturer community of the interior design world, and not to die of boredom while we do it." Laura grew up in rural West Texas obsessively playing with Lincoln Logs and Legos, poring over her mother's issues of Architectural Digest and designing her dream house on 8.5x11 inch grid paper. She received her BS in Civil Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and her MFA in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. In keeping with our Student Conference theme, "connect," as well as her own PLiNTH & CHiNTZ mission, Laura's "Connection Speed" presentation explores ideas of for quickly establishing your presence in the interior design industry.
