The IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter's Student Conference brings together students, professionals, educators, and manufacturers' representatives for two days of academic and professional enrichment. The conference will host 150 students from universities and interior design programs across Texas, Oklahoma, and the central United States. This year, the conference has been extended to two full days of programming. Workshops and interview skill practice have been added to the existing program of tours throughout Houston, a Q+A session via panel breakfast, small group presentations, a keynote speaker luncheon, and an industry table top expo featuring companies from across the region. In addition, forty talented students will be selected by their professors to participate in a design charrette competition. The mission of the IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter's Student Conference is to provide a comprehensive educational experience focused on the application of progressive and practical design solutions in conjunction with insight from practicing professionals. Students will participate in a myriad of activities focused on exploring varying avenues of design disciplines and applications.
